The results for race 4 for the Swan Maxis and Classics have been posted. There was only one windward/leeward race for the Swan 42 Class and the Swan 45 Class is half way through their second race of the day.

The results for the Swan 45 Class, race 7 and the Swan 42 Class, race 6, have been posted. The start sequence for the next race will be in approximately 10 minutes.

The Race Committee reports that the wind in the race area is now 17 to 18 knots from about 230 to 235 degrees. The Maxis and Classics started on time and there is a short postponement to realign the course for the windward/leeward course. The first boats sailing the coastal course are expected to finish about 1300.

The Race Committee has decided on course 4 (25 miles), green flag,  for the Swan Maxi Class and course 25 (18 miles), green flag, for the Swan Classics. The Swan 45's and 42's will sail windward leeward courses. The first signal will be at 1030. The wind is still about 15 knots from the southwest.

Good morning. This is the final day of the Rolex Swan Cup and the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship. The Race Committee is proceeding to the race area and reports winds of about 15 knots from the southwest. The plan today is to sail the Maxis and the Classics on a coastal course and the Swan 45's and 42's on windward/leeward courses. The first signal is scheduled for 1030 as noted on the official notice board.

At 1130, the Race Committee announced that the conditions in the race area continuing to deteriorate. Winds are now 27 to 28 knots gusting to over 30 knots. Independent weather forecasters indicate, with a high degree of confidence, that the conditions will continue to deteriorate further in the next few hours. Therefore the Race Committee has abandon racing for today and will post a new amendment later today indicating a revised schedule for racing tomorrow, Sunday, the final day of the Rolex Swan Cup and Rolex Swan 45 World Championship.

At 1100, the conditions in the race area remain the same, the wind is 24 to 27 knots gusting to 33. Actual observations just northwest of the racing area show wind of 35 knots gusting to 45. The 'AP' ashore will remain in effect.

Good morning. The Race Committee has signaled an 'AP' ashore and requests that boats not leave the harbor. The conditions in the race area at the moment indicate winds at 28 knots gusting to 33 knots. The Race Committee will continue to evaluate the conditions and will update the competitors on VHF channel 72.

The first signal for today's racing will be at 1520. The Swan Maxi Class will start first and sail course 4, red flag. The Swan 42 and Classic Classes will sail course 25, red flag. The windward mark is positioned at 325 degrees at a distance of 1 mile. The last class to start will be the Swan 45's sailing windward/leeward courses.

The forecast is for an ample sailing breeze to developing later in the day. Announcements will be made by the PRO at intervals to update the competitors as the morning progresses.

The Swan Maxis and the Classics started on schedule. The start for the Swan 45's and 42's was delayed to clear the course. The first windward/leeward course today will have an axis of 085 degrees with a distance to the windward mark of 2 miles. The warning signal for the Swan 45 Class will be at 1225 and the Swan 42 Class will follow 10 minutes later.

Good morning. This is the first day of the Rolex Swan Cup and the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship. The Race Committee is on station in the race area. The plan today is to start the Swan Maxis first sailing course 11 red flag and the Swan Classics second sailing course 21 red flag. The Swan 45's and 42's will then sail up to three windward/leeward courses following the start of the Maxi and Classic classes. The first signal will be at 1130. The wind is easterly at 6 to 7 knots.

The Rolex Swan Cup will run from 8th - 14th september. Racing will begin on 9th September.
